Survivors

Lucy “Noรซl” Martha Leslie assisted in rowing a lifeboat of the Titanic to the rescue ship, all the while encouraging other survivors with her calm decisiveness and optimism.

Eva Miriam Hart ~ ‘There was no need for anyone to die… had she had enough lifeboats with two and half hours and a very smooth sea, nobody would have died.’ย  ~ย  ‘If a ship is torpedoed, that’s war, if it strikes a rock in a storm, that’s nature, but just to die because there weren’t enough lifeboats, that’s ridiculous.’

Eliza “Millvina” Dean ~ ‘… an optimistic outlook on life… that would help a lot.’
