The weather predicted in this area for today says the sun is coming out, it will be cold, but thankfully for my pants it’s going to stay dry (gonna put my washing out on the line). So when I go on a bit of a walk about, I will definitely need a hat to make sure my ears are protected. Maybe not my beret as that doesn’t cover my ears. I don’t suppose I’ll need a waterproof coat though, but can I really trust the MetOffice getting it right? Talking of hats and French, the talented teacher Alexa talks of the French accent circonflexe looking like a little hat over letters, see:

Anyways, here is a link to Alexa talking about that: Accent Circonflexe

This has been a very French theme post, and probably because last night I couldn’t sleep and ended up reading loads from a book called: Talk to the snail by Stephen Clarke. It his perceptions from living for a while in France.

I love France and used to go there regularly. Sadly we have not been for about ten years now – but we will some day, Brexit or no Brexit.

I love the southern Alp mountains, even in winter, well perhaps more so in winter.
