Today, as I type, I’m thinking of those still in the muddy cramped tunnel at Euston Square Gardens. Not that we can call it a garden now. For HS2 has been chopping down the trees and the site it distressing. Six people are in danger, protesting down a 100ft (30m) long tunnel doing all they can to try to make people aware of the ecocide of HS2 (High Speed train track cutting through the countryside and destroying people’s homes from London to the Midlands). There’s already a track so we don’t need another, it’s ecocide! and to top it all, I’m worried about those in the tunnel! Some attempted a vigil last night:
