Someone phoned, because they were short staffed (some are somewhat vertically challenged) and I said I would, so yes I went in on my day off. I was thanked and felt appreciated. Still, I’m not sure I’m up for that again. You see sadly, one person was on a mission to be grumpy with me and all I could think of was “Dobby is a free elf!”, but of course I didn’t say it. Thinking all sorts of things isn’t a crime you know. It’s sort of like holding aces and not letting others see you have, especially if you know they’re hand is short.
