Leccy back, nothing defrosted, no sudden surges or things left on to be naughty, so “Woohoo!”
So there’s that then. It was actually rather peaceful. Still, “Thanks Western Power Distribution (WPD) Workers“
Addendum: The power went off again last night and did a bit of “on and off” jiggle again this morning. Apparently it will be on later, but I’m concerned about using the laptop for a work test, as it might cut out half way through and make my score low. At the moment checking what WPD says about it all by using a handy uninterrupted power supply UPS and about to have a cuppa using the old fashioned fire and whistling kettle method. Oh and I am so wanting to buy a Kelly kettle now, really REALLY it’s now on my “I WANT… ” mind list. Going now, going to carry on having this little bit of camping at home for a while. “Woohoo!” it’s back on again! Fingers crossed.

and now it’s back off again. Going to play camping inside the house (not wanting to have something else hit my head). Time to unpack the camping stuff, cards for solitaire and plenty of happy imagination (the wind sounds angry down the chimney). Have put an addendum on this post too.
