Eight

I’ve always liked the number eight, but really? Yup, it’s taken eight weeks from the start, but I’ve now received the DBS today that I’ve waited for. I’m ready to start the new job and my first day working will be this Saturday.

Lucky eight, lucky me for I actually won a teddy in a raffle today. See how things can change direction. I really thought I’d have to stretch my finances to even longer… Still, it is a long time to be waiting to work, accepted by the new, giving up the old, then the waiting game. It’s not right. Surely the system needs a big ol’ overhaul?
