Cracked the être and avoir

Learning French at the basic level, I’ve pretty much cracked a way of remembering “To be”  être and “To have” avoir.  As the whole thing settles on the E and the A being at the forefront in my mind.  Here’s how I translate it in my head, simple as:

English [ be = bE ] becomes French [ Être ] it’s all about the E.

English [ have = ‘Ave ] becomes French [ Avoir ] it’s all about the A.
